Áine Tyrrell has been hosting her WRITE TO RISE workshops for over 7 years now across all ages, backgrounds, levels of writing in both in person and online spirals. Her International career has been defined by thinking outside the box in powerful ways to use Art as medicine and weapon for the collective. Her workshop is refined and potent in being able to examine and dismantle the doubt and fear to claim the pen and quickly integrate tools to be able today reclaim that pen as the mightiest of swords.
Expect more liminal space energy in this inbetween time post-Solstice and before we truly are settled into 2025 in this WRITE TO RISE workshop. Áine will help work with you to decolonise from the structures of industry, patriarchy, and colony that keeps us from taking up space with our writing. Write in defiance of the silencing of your own truths. She will also help you weave in the threads of Ancient Irish practice in connecting into that well in your writing.
From songwriting to poetry and beyond, writing is a powerful way to speak to the hard truths of ancestral pasts and the beauty and hope in the futures.
