Áine Tyrrell has been hosting her WRITE TO RISE workshops for over 7 years now across all ages, backgrounds, and levels of writing. Her International career has been defined by thinking outside the box in powerful ways to use Art as medicine and weapon for the collective. Her workshop is refined and potent in being able to examine and dismantle the doubt and fear to claim the pen and quickly integrate tools to be able today reclaim that pen as the mightiest of swords.
February 2nd will be the first Brigid's Day edition of the WRITE TO RISE WORKSHOP honouring The Goddess Brigid and the Matron Saint of Ireland and aligned in potency with the new National Public Holiday in Ireland in her honour. Brigid was Goddess of the poets. She was a sage, and wisdom holder and tapping into her creative energy and power on the crossroads of Brigid's Day and WRITE TO RISE will be true fire.
Expect more Brigid energy woven into the WRITE TO RISE workshop. Áine will help work with you to decolonise from the structures of industry, patriarchy, and colony that keeps us from taking up space with our writing. Write in defiance of the silencing of your own truths. She will also help you weave in the threads of Ancient Irish practice in connecting in to the well of Brigid in your writing and for this workshop, work on other archetypal energy to continue to do so.
From songwriting to poetry and beyond, writing is a powerful way to speak to the hard truths of ancestral pasts and the beauty and hope in the futures.
