Bunyarra Culture Collective presents: Áine Tyrrell and Emily Wurramara special NAIDOC show
Bunyarra Culture Collective Presents and Evening of song and story with Emily Wurramara and Áine Tyrrell. The Bunyarra Culture Collective are hosting a range of events in November to celebrate NAIDOC at this later part of the year due to COVID restrictions earlier in the year and Áine and Emily look forward to bringing their collaborations and songs to this special NAIDOC EVENT.
Emily Wurramara and Áine Tyrrell don’t share the same blood but they call each other sister. Sisters by story. As much as our DNA holds the keys to our identity so does the story of where we come from and the legends and mythologies from the land that are so delicately woven into our ancestral memory. Emily Wurramara and Áine Tyrrell both hold a deep spiritual and generational connection to their homes and through song and story hope to connect you all in to your own too.
DOORS 6 pm (Dinner and light refreshments available for purchase from the Hall. Thanks to the Mullumbimby Neighbourhood Centre) SHOW 7pm (1 hour sets from both Áine and Emily with 30 minute intermission)
